Dr. Margaret Cassandra

Medical Director

Dr. Margaret Cassandra grew up just outside of Atlanta, Georgia, in a big family with ten siblings. She earned both her undergraduate and veterinary degrees from the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!), and went on to complete advanced training in medicine and emergency care at The Ohio State University.

Dr. Cassandra has spent the past couple years working in emergency and urgent care, where she honed her veterinary skills and deepened her passion for treating sick and injured dogs and cats. She finds particular fulfillment in helping pets and their families during critical and often stressful moments. She’s committed to providing compassionate care when it’s needed most, as well as forming strong and lasting relationships with people and their pets.

In her spare time, Dr. Cassandra enjoys staying active and spending quality time with her friends and family. She and her partner share their home with three furry companions: Bruce Wayne the Yorkipoo, Sherman the Dachshund, and Hubble, their magnificent cat. Whether it’s hiking, walking around the neighborhood, or exploring new places, they love adventures together. Dr. Cassandra is also a big fan of good food and sweet treats, and she’s always on the lookout for new local spots to try!
